Dr. Tontz has a professional interest in minimally invasive cervical and lumbar surgery, kyphoplasty, outpatient spinal decompressions and non-operative spinal care. He also has an expertise in adult spine trauma and reconstruction.
Dr. Tontz is a member of the North American Spine Society, where he serves on the Evidence Based Guideline Committee. He earned his medical degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of California, San Diego. His additional experience includes a spine fellowship at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
