Dr. Wiemi Douogih Performs Elbow Surgery on Nationals Pitcher Drew Storen

Wiemi Douogih, MD, team physician for the Washington Nationals, performed minor elbow surgery on Nationals pitcher Drew Storen, according to a Washington Times report.

Dr. Douogih performed surgery to remove a bone chip from Mr. Storen’s right elbow, which began bothering him during spring training. While the timetable for recovery remains unknown, he will most likely spend two to four months out of play.
