Dr. Walter Lowe performs knee surgery on Houston Texans linebacker

Walter Lowe, MD, the team orthopedic surgeon for the Houston Texans, performed knee surgery on the team’s rookie outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney, according to a My Fox Houston report.

Dr. Lowe performed microfracture surgery on the player’s right knee to address an injury sustained during a game played against the Washington Redskins.

 

In addition to serving as the Texans team physician, Dr. Lowe is chairman and professor of the department of orthopedic surgery at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and chief of orthopedic surgery at Memorial Hermann – Texas Medical Center and LBJ General Hospital in Houston.
