Walt Lowe, MD, of Houston-based Memorial Hermann – Texas Medical Center operated on Texas Rangers outfielder, Josh Hamilton’s knee.

1. Dr. Lowe conducted arthroscopic surgery on Mr. Hamilton’s left knee in Houston on Monday, Feb. 27.

 

2. The recovery and rehabilitation process is expected to sideline Mr. Hamilton for around two to three months.

 

3. Dr. Lowe performed reconstruction surgery on the same knee in June 2016. Monday’s surgery repaired torn cartilage that had been causing discomfort for about a week.

 

4. The procedure was Mr. Hamilton’s fourth knee surgery in the past 18 months. He won the AL MVP award with the Rangers in 2010.
