Dr. Val Zudans Publishes Outcomes Data From Florida Eye Institute Surgicenter

Val Zudans, MD, FACS, a board-certified ophthalmologist at Florida Eye Institute in Vero Beach, has published data based on surgical procedures performed at the Florida Eye Institute Surgicenter in the Journal of Cataract & Refractive Surgery, according to a TCPalm report.

Dr. Zudans’ study, Comparison of Prediction Error: Labeled Versus Unlabeled Intraocular Lens Manufacturing Tolerance, was designed to evaluate if manufacturer labeling of power tolerance improves the predictability of refractive outcomes after cataract surgery.

Dr. Zudans used comparative clinical data for the study, and all surgical procedures were performed by Dr. Zudans at the Florida Eye Institute Surgicenter, an AAAHC-accredited outpatient surgery center.
