Dr. Hunt, is also a team doctor for the Houston Texans, is coming to Baylor from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, where he was a professor of surgery and the chair of the orthopedic surgery department. At UAB, he was the director of the division of orthopedic surgery and the director of the UAB Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship.
Dr. Hunt received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tenn., and completed additional graduate medical training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, the University of Kansas Medical Center, Thomas Jefferson University Medical Center, and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania.
He’s a member of numerous organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Association, American Society of Sports Medicine and American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
