Mr. Davis will undergo surgery Oct. 5 to repair a ligament between the middle and ring fingers on his left hand. Dr. Graham is expected to use localized tissues to reinforce the area.

Mr. Davis will spend approximately two months recovering, and he’s expected to be ready for spring training. The infielder said he hopes the surgery ends his  history of injuries and pain in his hand.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
