Dr. Thomas Clanton Performs Achilles Tendon Surgery on LA Clippers’ Chauncey Billups

Thomas Clanton, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo., recently performed surgery to repair an Achilles tendon tear for Los Angeles Clippers guard Chauncey Billups, according to an NBA report.

Mr. Billups suffered the injury during a recent Clippers win over the Orlando Magic. Following surgery, Mr. Billups is expected to stay in Colorado for four weeks and then return to Los Angeles for further rehabilitation.
