Dr. Terrance Orr Travels as Head Physician of US Men’s Alpine Ski Team

Terrance Orr, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with Tahoe Orthopedic & Sports Medicine, will be accompanying the United States Men’s Alpine Ski Team to the 2014 Olympic Games as head team physician, according to a Carson Now report.

Dr. Orr has served as head team physician for the Men’s Alpine Ski Team since 1999 and recently served as chief medical officer at the first Winter Youth Olympics in Austria this past January. In the near future, he will be traveling to the 2014 Winter Olympic Games site in Russia to help develop an emergency action plan.

During his career, Dr. Orr has volunteered for the U.S. Ski Team.
