Dr. Tamar Kessel Joins Orthopaedic and Neurosurgery Specialists in Connecticut

Tamar Kessel, MD, an interventional physiatrist, has joined Orthopaedic and Neurosurgery Specialists in Greenwich, Conn., according to a Connecticut Plus report.

Dr. Kessel has a professional interest in musculoskeletal care and will perform ultrasound-guided therapeutic injections, in addition to other standard procedures. She earned her medical degree at Albert Einstein College of medicine and completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at New York Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia and Cornell.

Her additional training includes a fellowship in spine and sports medicine at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
