Dr. Sudhir Diwan Joins Spine & Pain Institute of New York

Sudhir Diwan, MD, has been appointed to become the executive director at The Spine & Pain Institute of New York, according to a news release.

For the past 10 years, Dr. Diwan has served as the director of the Tri-Institutional Pain Fellowship Program and Division of Pain Medicine at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Currently, he serves as the president of New York Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and an examiner for the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians, among other things.

Dr. Diwan completed his residency in anesthesiology at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital and a fellowship in pain medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, both in New York City. He has also authored numerous peer-reviewed medical journals and papers on the subject of pain medicine.
