Dr. Steven Chudik Earns Patent for Surgical Rotator Cuff Repair Technique

The United States Patent and Trademark Office has granted Steven Chudik, MD, orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine physician, a patent for his arthroscopic rotator cuff repair technique, according to a Chicago Tribune report.

Dr. Chudik earned his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School Of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of North Carolina. He holds a sports medicine and shoulder surgery fellowship from Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.

 

Dr. Chudik practices at the Sports Performance Institute in Westmont, Ill., and serves as an assistant professor of orthopedics at Loyola University in Chicago. He is also the founder of the Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine Teaching and Research Foundation.
