Stephen Ashwal, MD, a pediatric neurosurgeon of Loma Linda (Calif.) University Medical Center, and a group of researchers have authored the new sports concussion guidelines that have been accepted by the American Academy of Neurology, according to a report by The Press-Enterprise.
