Dr. Ross Benthien to Serve as President of Connecticut Orthopaedic Society

Ross A. Benthien, MD, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon in practice with Orthopaedic Associates of Hartford (Conn.), was elected president of Connecticut Orthopaedic Society for 2013 to 2015, according to a Hartford Courant report.

F. Scott Gray, MD, a founding partner of Connecticut Family Orthopedics in Danbury, Conn., was elected vice president of the society.

Mariam Hakim-Zargar, MD, foot and ankle orthopedic surgeon on staff at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, Conn., will serve as the society’s secretary/treasurer.

The society elected its new officers at its annual meeting held in Farmington, Conn., on May 10, according to the report.
