2. If an athlete sustains a suspected concussion during game play, Dr. Bell can assess the individual’s brain waves within minutes to determine whether he was concussed.
3. Dr. Bell tested each player to establish their individual baselines of brain activity at the beginning of the university’s football season. Since then, Dr. Bell has monitored each individual’s weekly brainwave assessments to check for subtle baseline changes.
