Dr. Robert Watkins to Perform Spine Surgery on New England Patriot Rob Gronkowski

In June, Robert Watkins, MD, board-certified orthopedic surgeon and co-director of the Marina Spine Center in Marina del Rey, Calif., is scheduled to perform spine surgery on the New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, according to an ESPN Boston report.

The surgery will address a disc injury. The player also recently underwent surgery on his left forearm, performed by Jesse Jupiter, MD.
