He has a special interest in academic medicine and is involved in teaching and research. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Norton has authored several peer-reviewed journals and textbooks.
Dr. Norton is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, North American Spine Society and Florida Orthopaedic Society. He performs minimally invasive treatment solutions of spinal disorders.
Dr. Norton earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed the orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. His additional training includes advanced training in spine surgery at the New York Hospital for Joint Diseases.
