Dr. Robert Anderson to Perform Surgery on New York Yankees’ Derek Jeter

Robert Anderson, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C., will perform ankle surgery on New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter, according to a New York Times report.

Mr. Jeter fractured his left ankle during a game against the Detroit Tigers last Saturday. He is likely to return in four to five months.
