Here’s what you should know:
1. Mr. Wilkerson sustained the ankle fracture during the Packers’ Sept. 23 game and immediately underwent an initial surgery the same day in Washington, D.C.
2. Dr. Anderson performed Mr. Wilkerson’s second surgery Oct. 2, and reportedly said the defensive lineman will make a full recovery.
3. Mr. Wilkerson will be out for the remainder of the 2018 season.
4. Dr. Anderson is an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist at Bellin Health Titletown Sports Medicine and Orthopedics in Green Bay, Wis. He serves as an associate team physician for the Green Bay Packers.
