Dr. Robert Anderson Performs Ankle Surgery on Broncos’ Julius Thomas

Robert Anderson, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with a focus on ankle and foot surgery, performed ankle surgery on Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas, according to a report from The Denver Post.

Mr. Thomas injured his right ankle during play last season and opted to undergo surgery last week to repair ligament damage. Dr. Anderson performed the procedure in Charlotte, N.C.

Mr. Thomas has begun working with the team’s training staff and may participate in the opening of training camp for the 2012-2013 season.
