Mr. Sweeney has suffered long-standing issues with patella tendinitis in his right knee and was placed on the disabled list last July after undergoing surgery. He rehabbed his left knee, which also suffered from chronic tendonitis, while undergoing therapy on his right knee. He reports feeling no pain in his knees.
