Dr. Ram Krishna Appointed to Arizona Board of Regents

Ram Krishna, MD, an orthopedic surgeon in private practice in Yuma, Ariz., has been appointed to the Arizona Board of Regents by Gov. Jan Brewer, according to a Yuma Sun report.

If the state senate confirms his appointment, Dr. Krishna will serve an eight-year term. He is a member of the Arizona Board of Medical Examiners and Arizona Orthopaedic Society. He has also served as chief of surgery at Yuma Regional Medical Center and as chairman of the hospital’s board of trustees.
