Dr. Peter Rork Founds Nonprofit Organization Saving Dogs

Peter E. Rork, MD, an orthopedic surgeon in Jackson Hole, Wyo., founded Dog is My CoPilot, a nonprofit organization that flies animals different cities for adoption instead of placing them in kill shelters, according to an AAOS Now report.

Dr. Rork previously volunteered on animal rescue missions for another organization. He currently works with the DIMC full time.
