Dr. Peter Millett performs shoulder surgery on 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick: 5 key notes

Peter Millett, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo., will perform shoulder surgery on San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, according to a Fox Sports report.

2. Dr. Millett performed the season-ending surgery today in Colorado.

 

3. Mr. Kaepernick is expected to spend the next four to six months recovering from the procedure.
