Dr. Peter J. Millett Elected to STOP Sports Injury Campaign’s National Steering Committee

Peter J. Millett, a physician at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo., has been elected to serve on the National Steering Committee for the Sports Trauma and Overuse Prevention campaign, according to a Vail Daily news report.

Dr. Millett will join a group of physicians from around the country conducting sports medicine research and creating awareness for the prevention of sports injuries through the campaign. Dr. Millett is a shoulder, knee and elbow surgeon who currently serves professional athletes from around the world.

Dr. Millett earned his medical degree at Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, N.H., and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. His additional training includes a sports medicine fellowship at The Steadman Hawkins Clinic.
