Here are four things to know:
1. Mr. Rodgers underwent surgery to have screws and plates inserted into his right clavicle Oct. 19. He was immediately put on the injured reserve list.
2. Mr. Rodgers’ recovery has remained on schedule. The quarterback returned to practice Dec. 2 after sitting out for eight weeks.
3. Following Dr. McKenzie’s approval, Mr. Rodgers is eligible to play Dec. 17. It is unclear if the Packers will start Mr. Rodgers.
4. Dr. McKenzie is the medical director for the Packers and is affiliated with the NFL Team Physician Society.
