Dr. ElAttrache will perform a procedure to clean debris from Mr. Garland’s shoulder. He first experienced pain during his starts earlier this season. He received a second opinion from Dr. ElAttrache’s colleague at Kerlan-Jobe, Lewis Yocum, MD, before deciding on surgery.
The recovery period for Mr. Garland after surgery will last at least six months.
