Dr. Neal ElAttrache to give second opinion on Diamondbacks pitcher’s elbow: 5 insights

1. On April 23, Diamondbacks starting pitcher Shelby Miller exited the game in the fifth inning after noticing forearm tightness.

 

2. Team physician Gary Waslewski, MD, initially assessed Mr. Miller.

 

3. The team did not comment on the player’s MRI, but reported there was “elbow inflammation.”

 

4. Dr. ElAttrache serves as head team physician for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Los Angeles Rams.
