Dr. ElAttrache performed a shoulder procedure on Mr. Kendall last September, from which he showed early signs of recovery. However, additional pain this season brought him back to Dr. ElAttrache, who found renewed tears in two right rotator cuff tendons.

Mr. Kendall is a veteran player, which means this could be a career-ending procedure for him. The surgery is tentatively scheduled for next Tuesday.
