2. Mr. Miller tore his ulnar collateral ligament on April 23.
3. Mr. Miller sought Dr. ElAttrache’s second opinion soon after the injury occurred.
4. The pitcher then sought the third opinion of James Andrews, MD, of Gulf Breeze, Fla.-based Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.
5. Mr. Miller is expected to miss the next 12 to 15 months, according to the team’s update.
