Dr. Akhtar, a neurology specialist, has served as a clinical instructor in neurology at Ohio State University as well as chief resident of the Department of Neurology there. He is a contributing author to “the 5 minute Neurology Consult” and has recently practiced around Charlotte, N.C.
Dr. Akhtar’s specialties involve movement disorders, Parkinson’s disease and tremors. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and the American Society of Neuroimaging.
