Dr. Michael Slutzky performs surgery on racer Josh Day: 4 notes

Michael S. Slutzky, MD, performed thumb surgery on bike racer Josh Day, according to a Road Racing World report.

1. Mr. Day’s surgery was successful and he will likely compete in Round Three of the 2016 MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Championship, April 29 to May 1.

 

2. Dr. Slutzky, of OrthoAtlanta, focuses on hand and microsurgery, sports medicine, general orthopedics and fracture care.

 

3. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Medical Association.

 

4. He has completed hand surgery and microsurgery fellowship at University of South Florida in Tampa.
