Dr. Michael Leland Performs 700th Anterior Hip Replacement Surgery

Valparaiso, Ind.-based Porter Health Care System announced that orthopedic surgeon Michael Leland, MD, has completed his 700th anterior hip replacement surgery at Porter Regional Hospital in Valparaiso, according to a Valpo Life report.

The surgery was performed on Nov. 12. It was performed using the OSI Surgical Table available at Porter Regional Hospital.

 

Dr. Leland has completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Blodgett Memorial Medical Center in Grand Rapids, Mich., and a residency in pediatric orthopedics at Mary Free Bed Hospital, also in Grand Rapids.
