Dr. Connors is the associate director of the division of pain and palliative medicine at the medical center. He is the immediate past-president of the Society for Pediatric Sedation. He is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine.
The award, established in 2010, is given annually to a society member who has demonstrated efforts to further the field of pediatric sedation, according to the report.
