Dr. Matthew Kneidel to Perform Ankle Surgery on Sporting Kansas City’s Chance Myers

Matthew Kneidel, MD, will perform season-ending ankle surgery on Sporting Kansas City defender Chance Myers, according to a Kansas City Kansan report.

Dr. Kneidel, of Carondelet Orthopaedic Surgeons, has completed fellowship training at the Foot and Ankle American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Ala. He will repair a ruptured Achilles tendon in Mr. Myers’ left ankle, according to the report.
