Dr. Marvin Royster Performs Knee Surgery on Atlanta Braves’ Chipper Jones

Marvin Royster, MD, an orthopedic surgeon, performed knee surgery on Atlanta Braves third baseman Chipper Jones, according to a USA Today report.

Mr. Jones tore his meniscus and will begin his final season in Major League Baseball on the disabled list. Dr. Royster performed arthroscopic surgery to repair the tear, and Mr. Jones is expected to spend at least three weeks recovering before he returns to play.
