Dr. O’Malley, a Nets team physician, operated on Mr. Harris’ left ankle to remove a loose bone particle stemming from a Nov. 14 injury Mr. Harris suffered in a match against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

“There’s a little bone particle in there,” Nets head coach Steve Nash said, according to the report. “Just the uncertainty of it, just better to take it out. We thought that it would potentially sort itself out because it’s been there, but it’s not [sorting itself out]. Hopefully that’s the end of it.”

Mr. Harris is expected to miss between four and six weeks.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
