Martin O’Malley, MD, of New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery operated on Phoenix Suns guard Tyler Ulis, according to AZCentral.

1. Dr. O’Malley performed the surgery on Wed., May 10 at New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery.

 

2. Mr. Ulis is expected to return to full basketball activity in 12 weeks.

 

3. The Suns called the operation a “minor surgical procedure.”

 

4. The 5’9 Mr. Ulis is the second first-year Suns player to undergo a minor ankle procedure this year, following forward Dragan Bender, according to the AZCentral report.
