Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Features Dr. Robert Satcher

Robert L. Satcher Jr., MD, an orthopedic surgeon and former NASA astronaut, will be featured at the Medical College of Wisconsin’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration, according to a report from Wauwatosa Now.

Dr. Satcher has a professional interest in orthopedic oncology and completed his medical degree at Harvard Medical School. He completed a fellowship in orthopedic oncology at the University of Florida.

He was the first orthopedic surgeon to travel in space and participated in two space walks.
