Dr. Marc Philippon Performs Hip Surgery on Nuggets Forward Wilson Chandler

Marc Philippon, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo., performed hip surgery on Denver Nuggets forward Wilson Chandler, according to a Washington Post report.

Mr. Chandler suffered a labral tear in his left hip, and Dr. Philippon performed an arthroscopic repair procedure. Mr. Chandler will spend time recovering from the procedure and is expected to return to play for training camp next season.
