Dr. Marc Philippon Performs Hip Surgery on Canucks Goalie Eddie Lack

Marc Philippon, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo., performed hip surgery on Vancouver Canucks goaltending prospect Eddie Lack, according to a report from The Star Phoenix.

Mr. Lack was initially diagnosed with a hip flexor injury and underwent surgical repair. He is expected to return to play for the 2013 preseason.
