Dr. Marc Philippon named among most influential Canadians in baseball

Orthopedic sports medicine physician Marc Philippon, MD, was named among the top 101 most influential Canadians in baseball, according to the Toronto Sun.

Dr. Philippon was named number 50. He is a surgeon at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo., where several professional and elite athletes seek treatment. He previously served as director of sports medicine disorders and the sports medicine/hip disorders fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh.

 

He has treated more than 1,000 athletes in his career, including Alex Rodriguez and Kurt Warner.
