Dr. Marc Philippon Advises New York Yankees’ Alex Rodriguez on Training

Marc Philippon, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo., has been working with New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez, to return him to play after suffering an injury earlier this year, according to a DeadSpin news report.

Mr. Rodriguez initially visited Dr. Philippon in November. Dr. Philippon said he was healthy enough to train as usual, according to the report. He advised Mr. Rodriguez to cut back on some training, such as his number of swings.
