Dr. Lewis Yocum to Perform Elbow Surgery on Orioles Pitcher Tsyuoshi Wada

Lewis Yocum, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, recently performed elbow surgery on Baltimore Orioles pitcher Tsuyoshi Wada, according to an ESPN report.

Mr. Wada was sidelined during spring training due to the injury, which was diagnosed as ligament damage. Dr. Yocum will perform an ulnar collateral ligament repair on Mr. Wada’s elbow next week. Mr. Wada will spend the next year recovering from the procedure.
