Dr. Larry Dorr Organizes Medical Volunteer Trip to Tanzania

Larry Dorr, MD, an orthopedic surgeon and founder of the Dorr Institute for Arthritis Research and Education Foundation, organized a volunteer medical trip to Tanzania, according to a Sioux City Journal report.

A total of 40 physicians, therapists, anesthesiologists and nurses from around the country took the three-day trip to Tanzania in June. By the end of the trip, the team had completed 50 joint replacements. The visit was organized through the Siouxland Tanzania Education Medical Ministries.
