Dr. Kyle Hammond operates on Hawks’ De’Andre Hunter 

Kyle Hammond, MD, performed a lateral meniscus arthroscopic debridement procedure on Atlanta Hawks forward De’Andre Hunter Feb. 8, the team announced.

Mr. Hunter will take at least two weeks to recover before being reevaluated. 

Dr. Hammond is an orthopedic physician at Emory Sports Medicine Complex in Brookhaven, Ga. 

He is the head team physician for the Atlanta Falcons and the head orthopedic surgeon for the Atlanta Hawks. He is an associate team physician for the Atlanta Braves and several colleges and high schools.
