Dr. Keggi is a professor of orthopedics and rehabilitation at Yale University in New Haven, Conn. His clinical interests include primary and revision hip replacement and the anterior muscle-sparing approach to hip replacement. He served in the United States Army during the conflict in Vietnam and worked in orthopedic trauma and emergency care after returning the States.
During his career, Dr. Keggi began an exchange program with physicians in the Soviet Union and the Keggi Orthopaedic Foundation has brought around 250 fellows from Russia, Baltic states, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Georgia and Vietnam to the United States.
