Dr. Koco Eaton performs elbow surgery on Tampa Bay Rays’ Jake McGee

Koco Eaton, MD, performed elbow surgery on Tampa Bay Rays closer Jake McGee, according to a Tampa Bay Times report.

Dr. Eaton, of Eaton Orthopaedics, is the orthopedic surgeon for the Tampa Bay Rays and a faculty member at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He has completed a sports medicine fellowship in Birmingham, Ala., under the direction of James Andrews, MD.

 

Dr. Eaton removed a bone spur from Mr. McGee’s shoulder, according to the report.
