Dr. Kevin Plancher Leads National Orthopedics Conference

This past December, the Orthopaedic Foundation for Active Lifestyles and The American Journals of Orthopedics presented a continuing medical education event in Las Vegas chaired by Kevin D. Plancher, MD, according to a news release.

The event included courses to enhance clinician knowledge and address minimally invasive surgical technique. This was the first annual conference with the second scheduled for December of 2012.

Other chairs of the 2011 event included:
•    Joseph Bellapianta, MD — vice chair
•    Claude T. Moorman, III, MD — shoulder chair
•    Mark Miller, MD — knee chair
•    Marc Philippon, MD — hip chair
•    Jack Bert, MD — pain management chair

Honored professors at the event were Russell F. Warren, MD, and Richard J. Hawkins, MD.
