2. He visited Dr. Meister, who diagnosed and treated Mr. Darvish’s right elbow for an impingement and inflammation.

3. Mr. Darvish will need three to five days for the shot to take effect.

4. Dr. Meister is the head team physician for the Texas Rangers and director of Arlington, Texas-based TMI Sports Medicine.
